Amar is driving ScaleMP's OEM Sales and Business Development, working closely with industry leaders to sign them up as ScaleMP OEM partners. Amar also plays a leading role in various aspects of ScaleMP's corporate operations.
Amar brings to ScaleMP more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry: prior to ScaleMP, Amar was VP of Business Development at EMC in the Infrastructure Software Group. He joined EMC when Kashya Inc. was acquired by EMC in 2006. Prior to Kashya Amar was with Zambeel, BEA Systems and IBM. At IBM, he worked in different business units, including semiconductors, mainframes, printers, storage and services. Amar was instrumental in establishing IBM Global Services' Indian Operations and served as its VP of Finance and Operations. He also headed business development for the Storage Business unit of IBM.
Amar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of technology, Madras, India and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
