In leading ScaleMP's R&D effort, Dan draws upon a career that spans more than 20 years, having accumulated significant managerial experience in leading diversified software development organizations and projects, most recently as VP Research and Development at QuiCare.
Prior to QuiCare Dan served as VP R&D and later as VP Technologies at AppStream where he led development activities and was responsible for the establishment of novel technologies for streaming software applications. Dan has additional experience as VP R&D for a number of start-up companies involved in digital printing and communications and has also served as manager of Software and Algorithm disciplines at Nova Measuring Instruments (NASDAQ:NVMI). While at Nova, Dan was the recipient of Israel's prestigious Rothschild Prize for Innovation for personal contribution to Nova's technology.
Dan appears as inventor on 12 patents and holds a BSc in Physics and Mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as well as MSc and PhD degrees in Medical Physics from Tel-Aviv University.
