Shai Fultheim - Founder and President

As founder and President of ScaleMP, Shai designed and architected the core technology behind ScaleMP and is, and is now responsible for its strategy and direction. Shai has more than 15 years of experience in technology and business roles in IT and venture backed firms. Before founding ScaleMP, Shai was CTO of BRM Capital, a first-tier Israeli venture-capital fund. Shai defined the fund's technology roadmap, which formed the foundation of BRM's investment strategy.

Prior to BRM, Shai was co-founder, CTO, and VP R&D at several technology startups. He has also served in the Israeli Defense Force's prestigious central intelligence unit, where he led a large IT organization of hundreds of engineers and programmers. Shai managed a broad range of complex IT projects in the areas of security, systems and network infrastructure and knowledge management, gaining significant experience in the domain of scalable computing and large-scale IT infrastructure.

Shai has been an active member of several open source initiatives such as Apache, Jakarta Tomcat, Amanda and the Linux kernel.

Shai holds a Bachelor of Technology and Applied Science from the Jerusalem College of Technology.

Andrew Fine - VP Finance

Andrew is responsible for all finance and accounting functions for ScaleMP, leveraging more than a decade of experience in all aspects of corporate growth and company building in rapid-growth environments.

Before joining ScaleMP Andrew held positions as CFO of Idioma, a leading provider of media-information technology solutions, and Director of Finance and Business Development for Israel's HiTEC Technology Entrepreneurship Center. At HiTEC Andrew was instrumental in establishing and implementing financial and business strategies for numerous hi-tech startups and managed a private investors group providing pre-seed angel funding to technology companies. Prior to HiTEC, Andrew was a Senior Principle and founding member at Euro Strategies, a management consultancy affiliate of Price Waterhouse.

Andrew has also served as an Assistant Political Advisor on Foreign Affairs to the Mayor of Jerusalem and earned both his B.A and M.B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Benjamin Baer - VP Marketing

As ScaleMP's Vice President of Marketing, Benjamin is responsible for all marketing, branding and demand generation for ScaleMP. Benjamin has more than 18 years of technology marketing experience with both start up and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining ScaleMP he was an independent marketing consultant for numerous technology start ups including a number of high profile vendors in the cloud computing space.

Previously Benjamin served as the VP of Marketing for desktop virtualization start up Pano Logic. Additional prior roles included Senior Director of OEM Marketing at VMware and Director of Sun's Partner Operating System marketing group. During his seven year tenure at Sun Microsystems Benjamin worked in a number of different business units including Enterprise Servers (ESPG), Netra telco solutions and Sun's Volume Systems Products (VSP) group.

Prior to joining Sun, Benjamin worked in a variety of business development, operations and marketing roles at Silicon Graphics, The Market Relations Group (A Regis McKenna Company) and PRx, Inc.

Benzi Galili - Executive Vice President

Benzi is responsible for ScaleMP's complete service offerings including Client Support and Applications/Performance Engineering. He brings 14+ years of experience in managing technology development and services, product and account management, and in product architecture and design geared towards addressing business needs of enterprises and end-users.

Prior to joining ScaleMP, Benzi served as VP of Products at Participate Systems (Acquired by OutStart Inc), VP R&D followed by VP Products and Services at Kamoon Inc, and also as CIO for the ERGO Consulting Group.

Throughout his career he has compiled a successful track record, managing diverse engineering and product management teams, delivering key products and services to companies such as Michelin, GE Healthcare, Raytheon, Amdocs and BMC.

Benzi holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University (Major in Information Systems), where he graduated with honors.

Manuel Hoffmann - VP Channel Development

Manuel is responsible for driving ScaleMP's channel development and market development strategies, building a strong ecosystem for the company's technology and solutions.

Manuel has 18 years of computer systems, storage and software experience and previously held senior management positions at SGI, 3PARdata, and Meiosys (acquired by IBM). He has extensive experience in the high-performance computing and computational intensive applications sectors.

At 3PARdata, he was Director of Market Development focusing on developing go-to-market, customer intimacy, and channel development initiatives. At Meiosys, he drove the company's strategy in the high-performance computing sector. At SGI, Manuel led the company's Business Intelligence marketing efforts and earlier led the international server business development efforts for Europe.

Manuel holds a B.S. in electromechanical engineering from the Ecole Centrale des Arts et Métiers (Belgium), an MBA from the University of Louvain (Belgium) and International Marketing Certificate of the University of California, Santa Cruz.
