Overview

ScaleMP's Versatile SMP (vSMP) architecture, enables the creation of high-end x86-based virtual symmetric multiprocessor (SMP) systems.  These virtual SMP systems provide superior performance compared to traditional SMP leveraging cluster infrastructure.  The vSMP architecture also simplifies cluster management by offering single OS across the cluster and centralized storage.

vSMP Foundation software implements the vSMP arcitecture.  it enables the creation of a single virtual system by aggregating multiple industry-standard x86 systems. vSMP Foundation creates virtual systems ranging from 4 to 32 processors (128 cores) and up to 4 TB of shared memory.
