Mr. Dan Barnea is the former Senior Vice President, R&D and Strategy and Corporate Development of BMC Software. Prior to his role at BMC Software Barnea served as CEO of New Dimension Software, managing its international growth and development until it was acquired by BMC for $673M. MR. Barnea has held additional senior management positions in technology companies including CEO of Laser Industries, general manager of Indigo (acquired by HP for $830M), and vice president of research and development for Elscint (activities sold to GE Healthcare and Philips Medical Systems). Barnea holds a BSc. (Electrical Engineering) and MSc. (Computer Science) from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and is currently active chairman of Final Inc. a world leader in high-frequency electronic trading.

Mr. Yoav Chelouche is a Managing Partner at Aviv Venture Capital. He brings to Aviv Venture Capital twenty years of experience in management, initiation and investments in the global high-tech arena. Prior to Aviv, Chelouche served as President & CEO of Scitex corp. (previously NASDAQ: SCIX) a world leader in digital imaging and printing systems with $700M in revenue and 4,000 employees) and was Chairperson of publically listed DMAtek which was sold to Francisco partners at a 90% premium over public market price. Chelouche serves on the boards of Checkpoint Technologies (NASDAQ:CHKP) and the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange and until recently was the Co-Chair of IATI-Israel Advanced Technology Industries (Israel’s largest umbrella organization for the high tech and life science industries). Chelouche holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France 1979 (Winner of Henry Ford Prize for first in class) and a BA in Economics and Statistics from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
Mr. Shai Fultheim has more than 20 years of experience in technology and business roles in IT and venture-backed firms. Before founding ScaleMP, Fultheim was CTO of BRM Capital, a first-tier Israeli venture-capital fund where he defined the fund’s technology roadmap, which formed the foundation of BRM’s investment strategy. Prior to BRM, Fultheim was co-founder, CTO and VP R&D at several technology startups. He also served in the Israeli Defense Force’s prestigious central intelligence unit where through management of a broad range of complex IT projects and teams in the areas of security, systems and network infrastructure he gained significant experience and knowledge in the domain of scalable computing and large-scale IT infrastructure. Fultheim has been an active member of several open source initiatives such as Apache, Jakarta Tomcat, Amanda and the Linux kernel and holds a B.Tech and BASc from the Jerusalem College of Technology. As founder and CEO of ScaleMP, Shai designed and architected the core technology behind ScaleMP, and is responsible for the company’s strategy and direction.
Mr. Michael Lewin was CEO and co-Founder at Kashya, a provider of enterprise-class data replication and data protection software, that he built and sold to EMC for over $150M. Previously he was the Head Officer in an elite research division of the Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Following the sale of Kashya Lewin co-founded a successful consulting business providing expertise in algorithmic optimization, security techniques and sophisticated communication technologies to many leading international technology companies. Michael was also an algorithmic software engineer for Compugen (NASDAQ: CGEN).
Dr. Ram Vromen is the Managing Partner of Evolution Venture Capital Fund. Previously he was a partner at Millennium Materials Technologies Fund, a venture capital fund focused on material sciences, and prior to that, a managing director of First IsraTech Fund, a venture capital fund focused primarily on medical devices. Before embarking on his VC career Vromen was a corporate lawyer focused on the hi-tech and venture capital practice. Ram serves as Chairman of WhiteSmoke Software Ltd. listed on TASE and has been a board member in over 20 private hi-tech companies in the past 15 years, with an investment track record that includes multiple exits such as the listings of Enzymotec and Perion (Incredimail) on Nasdaq, SightLine acquired by Stryker, Cadent acquired by Align Technology Inc. and OreX acquired by Kodak. Ram has a PhD in history from the Ecole Des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris, France and an LLB in law from Tel Aviv University.
