Leading Polish Supercomputing and Network Center Chooses vSMP Foundation to Provision On-demand SMP Capacity for POWIEW Users
Cupertino, Calif. – June 15, 2011 — ScaleMP, a leading provider of virtualization solutions for high-end computing, today announced that the ACC Cyfronet Polish supercomputing and networking center has adopted vSMP Foundation for Cloud as a standard way to provision SMP capabilities to the research community they are serving. The virtual SMP system at ACC Cyfronet has 768 cores and 6TB of RAM, aggregating 64 HP BL490G6 blades, and is the largest virtual shared memory deployed by ScaleMP to date.
